Today, while this is a major fear, the need to speak in public has never been greater. We no longer live in self-contained communities. The meeting will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 6:30 – 8:46 PM. This will be an open house and dinner meeting. Filmmakers Paul Galichia and Brian Weidling embarked on “Speak”, the Movie will be shown on March 13, 2013 at 6:30 pm. This movie is a documentary that follows six people in their quest for the title of Toastmasters, World Champion of Public Speaking. The movie will be shown at the Little Theater, 240 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604. Afterwards, there will be a Continue Toastmasters Documentary Have you ever visited another Toastmasters Club? It is a great way to see how other people conduct meetings. Recently I have started visiting clubs again and really enjoy the experience. If you want to give a speech at a club you do not belong to, you can usually make arrangements. You can find the Continue A Toastmaster as a “Guest” The Governor of Area 19, Dan Ferrens, announced the time and place for the upcoming Humorous Speech & Evlauation Contest for his Area. The date is Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Registration begins at 6:15 pm with the contest starting at 6:30 pm. Attendees heard seven original, highly improbably, humorous tales. Contestants (in alphabetical order) were Emily Crawford, Jonathon Edwards, Jason Gardner, Dennis Gauda, Ajit Kulkarni, Chris Sage, and Jill Tibbett.
