The Morning Knights Toastmasters Club of Endicott celebrated the club’s 40th year anniversary with a dinner at the P. S. Restaurant of Vestal on January 19th. Guests were entertained by seven humorous presentations from club members. Forty five people took “A Stroll Down Memory Lane” review of the club’s history recited by Ken Hull and DeWitt Henricks. Both gentlemen are Distinguished Toastmasters, the highest award offered by the international organization. Both also received regional awards for their leadership efforts.
Pam Ameigh, Toastmasters’ District 65 Southern Division Governor, commended the club on its accomplishments during the forty year history. Brion Keller, Area 9 Governor, reminded attendees of the benefits Toastmasters training, including the use of humor, in today‘s marketplace.
