With just one month left in the Toastmasters year, now is the time to finish strong. Every member plays a vital role in helping both personal and club goals cross the finish line.
Start by asking:
- What do I still want to accomplish? Whether it’s completing a Pathways level, giving that final speech, or taking on a meeting role, your progress matters. Be sure your achievements are submitted and updated in Base Camp and FreeToastHost so your club receives the recognition it has earned.
- What do other members still want to accomplish? Offer suggestions on how to get a fellow Toastmaster over the finish line. How can you mentor them to complete their goals?
- What does the club need to accomplish to reach a Distinguished Club Designation? Look at the scorecard and plan for club success!
Clubs can create momentum and energy with engaging events. Host a Speak-a-thon to help members complete speeches in a supportive, high-energy setting. Organize an Evaluation Marathon to sharpen feedback skills and build confidence. Two Table Topics Masters? Why not! Events like these not only drive education goals but strengthen members’ experience because it adds variety to meetings.
Don’t forget membership growth. An Open House or Speechcraft are powerful ways to welcome new guests and highlight the value of Toastmasters. Every new member adds fresh energy and helps clubs thrive.
Success is built together! When each member takes action, when each meeting has a plan, the entire club benefits.
Let’s make this final month count—complete goals, support one another, and celebrate a strong finish. Don’t forget to recognize all achievements!
